Washington, DC, our national capital, is a little more than six hours away by car, bus, or train from Albany. Washington is a large city filled with historic sites, museums, restaurants, and government buildings. Must-see venues include the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the National Mall, the White House, and the Smithsonian.
